Personal projects are something every photographer should be doing. Mine will all last 3 months in duration and end with 50 finished photographs. The goal of these projects is simple, to force myself to work. These projects will involve me leaving my comfort zone, and hopefully help me develop new skills along the way. I may overlap and have a few of these projects going on at once. It really depends on how involved each project is.
My first project will be 50 public restrooms. There are not many things more awkward than being caught photographing urinals in a gas station.
Regardless the subject, regardless the results, its the journey here that matters.
